Yes, it’s here. Win­dows Phone 7 Series has been announced and it has undoubt­edly changed the game. The sim­plic­ity, the smooth­ness and the visual appeal all make for an awe­some user expe­ri­ence. Microsoft has departed from any­thing they’ve ever done with Win­dows Mobile to cre­ate this new user inter­face, closer to what we’ve seen on the Zune HD. Apple are going to have a run for their money here. The iPhone OS is get­ting old; it has remained rel­a­tively unchanged for about 3 years now. If Apple isn’t going to revamp their OS, they will surely lose to Microsoft, a wor­thy alter­na­tive now with their Win­dows Phone 7 series. A long video walk through after the break.
